"Find a need and fill it" - Rev. William Sturgeon

As we make our way through life some sayings or quotes will always stay with us for one reason or another.  This quote has been with me since I was a young girl growing up in West Los Angeles. 

When I was younger my dad was a Southern Baptist preacher who loved helping people.  He was always saying "Find a need and fill it".  As a child and young adult I had no clue what that meant, but now as an adult I do.

"Find a need and fill it"..... is that foundation of business itself.  As a business owner you are looking for a way to provide products or services to the public in exchange for a fee.  You look for a way to be different and stand out in the marketplace.  You are trying to see where there is a need and fill that need with your products and services.  Business is that simple.
